Hohner Atlantic III piano accordion (sold)

Hohner Atlantic III piano accordion. Three voice (low reed, and two medium reeds) with 9 couplers (4 are repeats), mute switch, 3 couplers on the 5 voice bass side.
This is a lovely instrument – the 1960s Atlantics were fitted with composite pads (a sandwich of leather and foam attached to the keys and which form an air seal until you operate a key e.g. sound a note), and over time the foam in the pad disintegrates. All the pads on the bass and treble were replaced. The internal condition is good with no valve noise, and the instrument is in tune and sounds great. See the video below.

Hohner Lilliput Eb Bb

What can I say? These little boxes don’t quite have legendary status, but they are so dainty and very desirable. This one is in Eb Bb, a very nice key. It does require quite a bit of work – but it will have new bellows to replace the old ones, which are beyond repair. This one will be declubbed.

Check back later for pictures and video. This box has been ordered.

Hohner Club IV restored

Some shots of a Hohner Club IV, three voice (MMM) 30 key instrument. The keyboard was in a bit of a state (see before and after pictures) but the rest of it was OK, though it needed complete overhaul. A thirty key, three voice instrument has a *lot* of reeds. I also declubbed this box for its owner.
