A small, light-weight piano accordion, 27 keys and 16 bass, ideal for a learner. I cleaned, re-valved and spot tuned all the reeds, made some adjustments to the bass valve mechanism and replaced the bellows gasket. This accordion was tuned slightly lower (A=435) than modern concert pitch (A=440). Although it is not a top of the range instrument it has some quality reeds and has a satisfying sound. It was tuned to give a characteristic Italian ‘wet’ sound, with a difference of about 20cents between the reeds for the lower notes. I also love the colour.
