Weltmeister Stella Piano Accordion. (SOLD) 34 key and 60 bass. Three voices on the treble side (LMM) with 5 couplers, and three couplers on the bass side. This is a compact instrument and easier on the shoulders than a full sized instrument.
Hohner Verdi I piano accordion – a classic instrument from the 1930/40s. (SOLD) This one has a striking art deco design on the grille. A two voice instrument with 48 bass (counter bass, bass, major and minor chord). Light weight and ideal for gigging and busking. This was restored and sounded marvelous. I was able to play it for a few weeks before a customer bought it. I am on the look out for more Verdi I’s. They are very nice when fully functioning.
‘Settimio Soprani Two’ piano accordion with 34 keys and 80 bass. Two voice. Compared to modern accordions this is relatively light in weight and less tiring to play and carry around than a full sized 120 bass accordion. This is the ideal size to weight combination for a piano accordion. This will be fully restored to play-ability, with completely overhauled reeds (new valves and wax) and tuned. There is no modern/new equivalent to this for the price. Restored price, including new shoulder straps £475.

Very nice Italian made Scandalli piano accordion for sale, second hand. This is a relatively unusual model to find in the UK. it is similar to the Hohner Arietta in size and weight. It has 34 treble keys and is therefore smaller and lighter than a full-sized piano accordion.
Three voices on the RH (low, medium, medium), with three couplers giving the following combinations: L, LMM, MM.
Four voices on the LH, with 48 bass – counter bass, fundamental, major chord, minor chord, in all 12 notes of the scale.
The bass action is particularly light, as is the RH keyboard action.
This falls into the category of a light piano accordion, with 34 keys and 36 basses (all 12 notes in the scale), and major and minor chords. I love the look of it too. The body is in good condition, as are the bellows, which is why I want to get it back to working condition. The reeds need completely removing, cleaning, re-valving and no doubt tuning. Quite possibly all the pallets will be releathered too, though I haven’t quite decided on that just yet. It’ll be like a new accordion! And it has a case!
